Hamburgers - 2 lbs. Ground Beef

1. Prepare hamburger patties following your favorite recipe.  We like to add 1 tsp salt per pound of meat, plus some minced garlic, a sprinkle of dry mustard and a little pepper.

2. Grill hamburgers or cook in pan on stove top.

3. Top with favorite toppings.  One of our favorite combinations is to top burgers with onions, banana peppers or dill pickles, and warmed jalapeño pimento cheese (and a little ketchup and mustard).  We often enjoy using sourdough bread in place of regular buns for a bit of a flavor change up.

Side Option Ideas: Homemade French Fries (we like to slice baking potatoes into very thin pieces so fries get extra crunchy), Salad, Corn Salad, Cowboy Cavier.

Streams That Flow

The tension of good and hard is always present, but by these winding 'Streams that Flow,' I have found more life, love and kindness than I ever knew was possible. This blog is a stream-of-consciousness style record of the people, places, and even animals that have imprinted goodness and love on my life. Stories that I hope will inspire rituals of beauty, rest and belonging for you too within the flow of everyday life.
